General Rental Conditions

Napoleon Rent provides the Customer with a vehicle that is registered and technically fit for driving. By signing this agreement, the Customer agrees to the terms of this agreement and the price list, which forms an integral part of the contract, and agrees to:

• Return the rented vehicle to the agreed location and within the agreed period, or earlier at Napoleon Rent’s request.
• Immediately notify Napoleon Rent in case of any breakdown of the rented vehicle and follow their instructions.
• Request an extension of the rental period at least 24 hours before the end of the rental agreement period.
• Use the rented vehicle solely for personal purposes, and ensure that only they or another person listed in the agreement will drive the vehicle.
• Not use the rented vehicle for illegal purposes, including criminal offenses, customs violations, or other unlawful activities, nor for driver training, towing, or pulling other vehicles or trailers.
• Not drive the rented vehicle under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other intoxicants.
• Not cross the state border with the rented vehicle without written consent from Napoleon Rent.
• That transporting pets is only allowed with written permission from Napoleon Rent.

Customer Guarantee Obligations

The Customer is obligated to provide a guarantee for the proper return of the vehicle by:

• Paying a deposit determined by Napoleon Rent.
• Depositing funds via payment cards accepted by Napoleon Rent.

Rental Payment Obligations

The Customer is obliged to pay:

• The calculated amount for the agreed rental period.
• The cost of fuel if the vehicle is returned without a full tank.
• Damages to tires, tools, or documents according to the current Napoleon Rent price list.
• A 30% charge of the daily rental rate per hour for delays exceeding 60 minutes, up to a maximum of 3 hours. If the delay exceeds 3 hours, a full daily rental rate will be charged as an additional day.

Additional Conditions

• If the Customer causes tire damage, they are obligated to buy two identical tires, depending on whether the damage occurred on the front or rear axle.
• Should the vehicle require additional or specialized cleaning (deep cleaning), the Customer must pay €15 for additional washing and €40 for deep cleaning.
• If the Customer loses the keys or registration, they are required to pay €500 in compensation.
• Napoleon Rent assumes no responsibility for any violations of traffic laws by the Customer during the rental period, nor for tire repairs, tolls, etc.
• In the event of unforeseen circumstances where the reserved model cannot be rented, Napoleon Rent will offer a vehicle of the same or higher class at no additional cost to the Customer, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. If the Customer does not accept the offered vehicle, Napoleon Rent will refund the payment.
• If any damage occurs to the vehicle due to the Customer's negligence or misuse, the Customer must cover all repair costs.
• If the battery stops working due to the Customer's negligence, they must cover the damage or purchase a new battery.
• All damage found upon return of the vehicle that was not recorded at the time of rental will be considered to have occurred during the rental period, and the Customer will be held responsible.
• In case of a traffic accident or technical malfunction, the Customer must not abandon the vehicle and must immediately notify a representative of Napoleon Rent. In the event of an accident, the Customer must wait for the representative and ensure the vehicle is towed to Napoleon Rent's service at their own expense.
• Failure to comply with any of these conditions will result in full compensation of damages to Napoleon Rent by the Customer.
• If the vehicle is stolen or lost for any reason, the Customer must immediately notify Napoleon Rent and the police, and provide a police report.
• If the vehicle is stolen or lost, the Customer must return the original key and registration and submit the police report. Failure to comply will make the Customer financially responsible for the theft or loss and obligated to compensate Napoleon Rent for the full value of a new vehicle.
• The Customer acknowledges that the rented vehicle is not insured against damage caused by driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicants, driving without a valid driver’s license, or driving with more passengers than the registered number of seats.
• In the event of damage to the vehicle caused by the Customer or theft of the vehicle, the Customer’s liability will be determined according to the selected damage insurance package. Choosing an insurance package is mandatory, and liability will be calculated according to the package's terms.
• Napoleon Rent is not responsible for loss or damage to luggage or goods in or on the vehicle, nor for delays due to vehicle damage, delivery, or failure during use.
• Napoleon Rent reserves the right to track the vehicle's movement via GPS in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
